U.S. Senator: U.S. Tech Giants Help Communist China Achieve Global Ambitions

On Friday, February 26, U.S. Senator Marsha Blackburn (D-CA) spoke at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). She revealed that U.S. technology giants are assisting the Chinese Communist Party in its global ambition to surpass the United States as a global superpower.

Blackburn said, “Big tech companies are assisting and supporting the Chinese Communist Party in its quest for global dominance …… and we will have to stand up against it.”

She spoke of the “cordial relationship” between big tech companies in the U.S. and the CCP, “They [the tech giants] have been allowing the CCP to spread all the information in the U.S.”

She said, for example, that although the Communist Party has blocked U.S. social media outlets such as Twitter and Facebook, these social media outlets are still being used by Communist Party officials and state media to create accounts at will and help the Communist Party spread false information in the U.S. in favor of the regime, including false information about the Communist Party’s virus (New Crown virus).

Blackburn also spoke of these tech giants demanding that the American people “be obedient” or they will “cancel you,” a practice similar to that of the Communist Chinese Communist Party. She believes that the U.S. government must block huawei because the Chinese Communist Party’s technology giant Huawei is actually a spy network for the Chinese Communist Party.

In her speech at the CPAC conference, Blackburn also called on the U.S. government to oppose aggressive acts of the Chinese Communist Party such as human rights violations in Hong Kong, Tibet and Taiwan. She said, “They hold Uighurs in camps, detention centers for enslavement.”

She also mentioned the Chinese Communist Party’s theft of intellectual property from U.S. companies. “Look at what they [the Chinese Communist Party] have done to the economy, to American innovators, they have plagiarized, copied, replaced,” she said. “They (the CCP) also try to use the Confucius Institute to steal the minds of our children and college students.”
