It is reported that the woman, together with 2 other people in Qitaihe City, Heilongjiang, has been cheating for many years since 2015, and the amount of money involved has been identified to be about 3 million RMB. Some of the victims have lost money but still have not reported the case, which has also led to speculation.
According to Caixin 26, recently, the Chinese Communist Party‘s Qitaihe City Public Security Bureau of Heilongjiang Province, the garrison branch issued a notice, saying that Zhang Jinhong, Chang Shuyan, Chang Shuangyin three people pretending to be the sister of the “former leader Bo” to fraud, the Public Security Bureau has opened a case for investigation.
The newspaper quoted informed public security, Zhang Jinhong for Heilongjiang Province, Jixi people, posing as the original Bo leadership sister identity, said their assets were seized by the state, in the name of the need for funds to unfreeze to raise money from everyone, and promised more than ten times the high return. The former leader of the Bo surname in the public security notice is believed to be Bo Xilai, the former secretary of the Chongqing Municipal Party Committee, who has been on the horse for nine years. 2013, Bo Xilai was sentenced to Life imprisonment for bribery, embezzlement and abuse of power. Bo Xilai has a sister named Bo Xiaoying, who was an associate professor in the history department of Peking University.
The report said Zhang Jinhong and others began the scam in 2015, just two years after Bo Xilai was jailed. The scam covered the cities of Hulin, Jixi and Qitaihe in Heilongjiang province, but it was not until the end of last year that the suspects were reported to the police. The seven or eight victims identified so far have lost as much as 3 million yuan, including one who was defrauded of more than 900,000 yuan. The public security said that there are still some victims who have not registered to report the crime.
In the notice, the garrison branch asked the victims to take valid documents and bank, Alipay and other transaction flow to register for the report before March 18 this year, and threatened that “the expected failure to register for the report will have its own consequences”.
