The Gateway Pundit reported Friday (Jan. 8) that the Twitter accounts of attorney Sidney Powell and General Flynn have been suspended, and the suspension appears to be permanent. Lawyer Powell and General Flynn have both taken the fall in the campaign to completely purge Trump supporters from the social media platform.
On the night of the Capitol protest, Stop the Steal organizers Michael Coudrey and Ali Alexander were both banned from Twitter. The day after the protest, attorney Lin Wood was also expelled from Twitter. Joe Hoft of The Gateway Pundit was also suspended from his Twitter account for posting about Hunter Biden.
Twitter’s account purge tipped over the accounts of Trump supporters large and small, and anyone who questioned the outcome of the 2020 election didn’t seem to be left behind. Twitter also temporarily suspended President Trump’s account on the day of the Capitol protest and threatened to permanently ban President Trump’s account.
Facebook permanently banned President Trump’s account this week, and the Walkaway group’s Facebook account was also shut down today.
Away from Twitter, General Flynn turned to Parler, where he wrote on Friday, “America fought a meaningful battle. Our great nation is resilient and we will get through this tough time. Acting responsibly at this time is what all Americans must do. I have found faith, family and true friends to be my foundation during the last 4 tough years. God bless America. “
