Apple threatens to ban Parler unless it agrees to tough censorship by tech oligarchs

Apple is now threatening to ban Parler, an alternative platform to Twitter, unless Parler agrees to adopt the same heavy-handed speech censorship as the big technology companies, according to two sources familiar with the threat from Apple.

Parler is now the fastest-growing social media company due to the speech censorship of large technology companies. On Thursday morning (Jan. 7), Parler CEO John Matze made a bold statement on his rapidly growing social media platform denouncing the speech censorship of Facebook and Twitter.

Twenty-four hours later, Apple threatened to ban Parler unless it censored and disparaged those who did not conform to communist ideology. The means used will likely be that Parler cannot be accessed using the Parler App on the iPhone and users must use a browser, but soon browser access may be blocked as well.
