U.S. media breaking: FBI arrests a West Virginia lawmaker for entering the U.S. Capitol (video)

The FBI arrested a West Virginia congressman, Derek Evans, on Friday for entering the Capitol on Wednesday and for allegedly going on the air after entering a restricted area of the U.S. Capitol, U.S. media outlet The Gateway Pundit reported Jan. 8.

According to WSLS, a television news division of ABC, Evans’ attorney said the congressman has not resigned, but both Democrats and Republicans have called for his dismissal.

The FBI apprehended and transported Derrick Evans at a West Virginia house.

The FBI is intensifying its hunt for Trump supporters and those who entered the Capitol on Wednesday. Meanwhile, the FBI has developed a “Make America Great Again MAGA” list of wanted individuals and has mobilized the nation’s top law enforcement agencies to arrest and charge them.
