Election theft is a bigger threat Poll: 45% of Republicans support entering the Capitol to protest

The Gateway Pundit reports the results of a new poll in which nearly half of Republican supporters support the protest that entered the Capitol on Wednesday following the theft of the election, with only 27 percent of Republicans viewing the protest as a threat to democracy and the rest seeing the theft of the election as a greater threat to democracy.

YouGov Direct, a British market research and data analysis firm, polled 1,397 registered voters, and among those who were informed of the entry into the Capitol protest, a majority (62%) viewed the act as a threat to democracy, with an overwhelming majority of Democrats (93%) viewing it that way, as did a majority of independents (55%).

But among Republicans, only 27% see entering the Capitol to protest as a threat to democracy, two-thirds (68%) of Republicans believe it is not a threat to democracy, and many more Republicans (45%) actively support the move to enter the Capitol to protest.

Apollo.com commentator Wang Dulan analyzed that this poll, if accurate, shows that people in the middle do not know the actual situation and receive information from the mainstream media, not knowing the actual situation, highlighting the importance of news authenticity. The information is wrong, and the judgment is naturally wrong.
