President Trump calls out the “people who matter most”: You are the real power

President Trump is urging several key state legislatures to reconvene and refuse to allow Joe Biden to vote in the Electoral College in his winning state, according to an exclusive report in a Washington Examiner column.

In a private call late Saturday to lawmakers who believe Trump was robbed of re-election by a fraudulent vote organized by Democrats, the president said they were the only way to stop Biden from getting elected.

“You are the real power,” he said in the call, “and the people who matter most are you. You guys are more important than the courts. You are more important than anything else because the courts keep referring to you and you are the ones who are going to make the decisions.” Got Freedom organized the conference call at the request of about 300 state legislators. The meeting, which was scheduled to last 14 minutes, lasted two hours.

Several leaders of the StopTheSteal movement participated in the conference call, organized by Phill Kline, who also heads the nonpartisan Thomas Moore Society’s Amistad Project. Others include Trump lawyer Rudy Giuliani (who got Trump on the phone), law professor John Eastman, National Trade Council Director Peter Navarro, who recently authored a report on the election, and Justice Department official John R. Lott Jr. who also authored a separate new report suggesting that some 300,000 “excess” votes were counted to give Biden the “win.

While Trump was talking, news broke that a dozen GOP senators were planning to join a House action organized by Rep. Mo Brooks (R) of Alabama and Jim Jordan (R) of Ohio, who plan to challenge the Electoral College results on Wednesday in a Jedi comeback.

Trump applauded the efforts but apparently believes the best chance to overturn the election lies with the Legislature, several of which never had a chance to vote to confirm the electoral votes because they weren’t in session. Others, he said, were indoctrinated to approve false election results.

The president said, “You know we won the election, and you know the numbers that were certified were bogus.”

Time is running out, and if states are to overturn the election results, there are only a few days before Congress certifies the states’ votes on Jan. 6.

“I believe that your job is to take action, take action, take action.” Navarro said, “The situation is dire.”

Giuliani said lawmakers can act quickly and urged those on the call to push their leaders to act: “We need you to put undue pressure on your leadership, where the real weakness and cowardice lies primarily.”

Kline, Lott and Navarro presented their report on voter fraud, deadbeat voting and ballot stuffing. They looked at Pennsylvania, Nevada, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan and Arizona.

“The integrity of our elections is too important to be taken lightly, and elected officials deserve to have all relevant information when considering whether to accept the reported results of the 2020 election, especially in states where the election process is influenced by private interests.” Kline said.

Leaders in those states, however, appear uninterested in revisiting the election results. Trump reiterated that he believes he won and that Democrats orchestrated a campaign triggered by his surprise 2016 win to ensure he lost the election this year. He said, “It was a scam, it was rigged. It was a rigged election. They stole the election. We can’t let them steal it.”

“I went from being ahead by a lot to losing by a little bit.” He said of the voting county on election night: “It’s a shame that it can happen. Everybody knew it was a scam, it was a rigged election.”

Trump also mentioned that Congress and Vice President Mike Pence are planning a protest in Washington on Wednesday to co-certify the election.

Trump said, “I don’t think this country will accept it.”

In a swipe at Biden, he added: “And I think it would be a terrible thing for this country if that (winning the election – happening to a man in a basement who’s been shot in the head and hasn’t been very good before, but he won an election that everyone knew he couldn’t win.”
