Health Code? Los Angeles opens the nation’s first new crown pneumonia surveillance softwares

Los Angeles Unified School District 22 announced it will use a new software, Daily Pass, to coordinate health screenings, new coronavirus testing and vaccinations for students. The school district said it is the first comprehensive Newcastle pneumonia surveillance software in the country.

The district 22 said the softwares are an important step in the district’s relaunch of the campus. Austin Beutner, superintendent of the Los Angeles Unified School District, said the “daily pass” sets the highest standard for campus safety. Every school in the district has replaced air purifiers, tested teachers and students for new coronaviruses once a week, and now that Daily Pass is live, “LAUSD is proud to lead the way in school safety.”

“Daily Pass was developed by Microsoft, and Eran Meggido, vice president of Windows Products and Education at Microsoft, said, “We are excited to work with the Los Angeles Unified School District to help school staff, educators, and get them back to school as quickly as possible. “

The softwares generate a QR code for each student, through which the student can access one of the Los Angeles Unified School District campuses. The prerequisite is that the student tests negative for nucleic acid and has a body temperature of 100 degrees Fahrenheit or less. A faculty member will take the student’s temperature and scan the QR code at the campus entrance.

“Daily Pass will also serve as a tracking tool for student vaccine registration, appointments and administration. Anonymous data from the software will be shared with relevant departments, including Stanford University, Los Angeles University and other research institutions for research.

Students and Parents can access “Daily Pass” online at https://dailypass.lausd.net. While L.A. County currently allows face-to-face classes for grades six and below, the Los Angeles Unified School District has not yet opened them because the teachers’ union has requested that classes not begin until after the vaccine is administered.
