On May 1, India added more than 400,000 confirmed cases that day, after seven consecutive days with an average of more than 370,000 confirmed cases, with an average of 2.5 people dying every minute from the epidemic. In response, countries around the world have donated money and materials to help India fight the epidemic, and media from all over the world have expressed their deep concern for the Indian people in various forms.
However, in the face of the epidemic in India, China Chang’an.com, a subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party’s Political and Legal Affairs Commission, posted an ill-timed blog post on its official microblog on the afternoon of May 1, which read, “China lights a fire vs. India lights a fire.” Two pictures were attached to the bottom, one on the left of a Chinese launch of a Long March 8 carrier rocket, and one on the right of an Indian burning the bodies of the dead of the new crown with firewood. The tweet also included the hashtag “400,000 new cases diagnosed in India in a single day”. In response to the post, international public opinion has suggested that the Chinese Communist Party is gloating.
China should not forget its wounds
This blog post by “China Chang’an” was widely seen as a mockery of the current tragic situation in India by the Chinese Communist Party’s official media. The original blog post was deleted only after it was retweeted nearly 10,000 times by netizens and generated a great deal of controversy.
In response to China Chang’an’s mockery of India, some netizens said that despite the ongoing conflict between China and India on the border, the Indian government sent a C-17 air force transport plane to donate 15 tons of medical supplies, including gloves, masks and other emergency medical equipment, to the Wuhan area after the outbreak of the epidemic. Regardless of the amount of donation, India has shown a kind of international humanitarianism, as a country of etiquette, China, we should keep in mind this kindness of India.
There are also netizens who say that no matter what conflicts the Chinese and Indian governments have, the Communist Party’s official media should not mock the Indian people in the face of the disaster they are suffering, and should not forget the pain after the wound, because the official media represents the image of a country.
China risks a return of the epidemic
Statistics released by Johns Hopkins University show that as of 11:11 p.m. Beijing time on May 5, the number of confirmed cases of Newcastle pneumonia rose to 154,469,379 worldwide, including 3,230,336 deaths.
The dynamic chart of statistics shows that the epidemic is still worsening in India, with the average daily number of new confirmed cases remaining above 380,000 for 7 consecutive days, and an average of 3,572 deaths from the epidemic per day for 7 consecutive days. Cambodia, Myanmar, Thailand, Nepal, Malaysia, Japan, the Philippines and Vietnam, China’s neighbors, have all recently seen a return of the epidemic.
On May 5, the World Health Organization released its weekly epidemiological report on Newcastle pneumonia. The report said the number of new confirmed cases worldwide remained at the highest level for the second consecutive week. More than 90% of new cases came from India; 46% of new confirmed cases and 25% of new deaths came from India last week, with a significant increase in both new confirmed cases and deaths in the Southeast Asia region.
According to 21Finance.com, more than 100 million people traveled in China for the Qingming Festival and more than 200 million people will travel during the May Day Golden Week. There is already evidence that the new coronavirus has emerged in some parts of China, and on April 28, the city of Chongqing reported a case of an overseas importation. This patient had previous experience working in India.
Chinese epidemiologist Wu Zunyou told a press conference on April 29 on the joint prevention and control mechanism of the Chinese State Council that the Indian outbreak is once again a wake-up call, showing that the prevention and control of the epidemic is difficult, complex, recurrent and long-term.
China to face global epidemic accountability
In an interview with NBC on April 11, 2021, U.S. Secretary of State John Blinken says China’s failure to provide a pipeline for international experts and share information in a timely manner, and its lack of transparency, has led to the virus “spiraling out of control at an accelerated rate,” leading to the current uncontrollable outcome.
The director general of the World Health Organization, known as “Secretary Tan” in the media, was pressured by international public opinion to reveal the truth to the media on March 30 this year. He said that WHO investigators who went to China to study the origins of the epidemic were unable to obtain key data (on the Chinese epidemic). Although the report, written by WHO experts together with Chinese scientists, said the virus was likely transmitted from bats to humans through another animal, the possibility of a laboratory leak was extremely low. However, Tandse said it could not be completely ruled out (that the virus originated from the Wuhan virus laboratory) and further investigation was needed.
In a joint statement, Australia, Canada, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Israel, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, South Korea, Slovenia, the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union said, “The international expert investigation on the origin of the new coronavirus has been seriously delayed and lacks access to complete raw data and samples. “
In the face of this global catastrophe, there are four facts about the CCP that cannot be denied. First, the fact that Wuhan was the first place where the epidemic started cannot be denied; second, the fact that the CCP concealed the epidemic and did not report it; third, the fact that the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research synthesized the new coronavirus; and fourth, the fact that the CCP cracked down on the “whistle blowers” of the epidemic cannot be denied. With the above facts, the world has a reason to hold the CCP accountable.
The epidemic will bring seven major sequelae to China
From the current analysis of various public information, I believe that the epidemic will bring at least seven major sequelae to China: First, the sequelae of the return of the epidemic in China; second, the sequelae of the world’s difficulties with China due to the epidemic; third, the sequelae of the world’s resistance to the “Belt and Road” due to the epidemic; fourth, the sequelae of the difficulty of exporting Chinese goods to the enclosure due to the epidemic; fifth, the sequelae of the Chinese vaccine Fifth, the sequel of Chinese vaccines due to quality problems; sixth, the sequel of the Chinese government’s credit bankruptcy in the international arena; and seventh, the sequel of the loss of morality that the epidemic will bring to Chinese society. To sum up, it is likely that the Chinese Communist Party’s official media will have a lot of fun mocking India.
