U.S. media outlet Gateway Pundit reported Sunday that Rep. Adam Kinzinger of the “Never Trump” camp was censured by the Will County, Illinois, Republican Party in a landslide vote Saturday. The statement from the Will County Republicans was, in a word, harsh and unrelenting.
The Palmieri Report, a U.S. media outlet, reported that the Will County Republican Party declared, “Congressman Kinzinger’s feelings about former President Trump are well known. We witnessed Kinzinger’s fierce attacks on Trump after President Trump refused to appoint Kinzinger as Secretary of the Air Force, after he previously supported President Trump.”
“The final straw was Kinsinger’s support for a second impeachment of Trump, and soon Kinsinger began his attacks on other duly elected Senate Republicans and Trump supporters. The congressman launched a Political Action Committee (PAC) to go after conservative patriotic Republicans, signaling that Kinzinger no longer represents the more than 9,000 voters in Will County who support President Trump. Kinzinger has also ignored the wishes of other Republican congressional voters across the United States.”
The “Never Trump camp” senator expressed his displeasure with the strong censure resolution against his actions and shamelessly said, after being harshly condemned by the Will County Republican Party on Saturday, “You have a problem with your strong censure resolution and your 76 million votes, and 82 million votes and you don’t. ,2 million people voted differently than you did! Netizens commented, “Didn’t we agree that you are representing the 76 million? Isn’t that a clear statement that you’re betraying the voters?”
