Durant, Irving basketball combine to lead team to big opening day win over Warriors

The Warriors scored 16 points in the first half with only Curry scoring ten points, while Irving scored a big three-pointer in the reading period before halftime, and he has scored 24 points in the first two quarters alone, plus Durant and Caris LeVert who scored 12 points respectively to give the Bucks a 63-45 lead after halftime.

The Bucks opened the second half with a 17-4 run to stretch the lead to 31 points, and at one point led by as many as 35 points to take a 28-point lead into the final quarter, 99-71.

As the game was split early, the two teams switched to their bench players one after another in the final quarter, and the Bucks eventually beat the Warriors by an easy 26 points.

The Nets picked up their first win of the season when Irving and Durant teamed up for the first time to score together, giving legendary star Steve Nash his first win in his first game at the helm.

Irving scored a game-high 26 points today, while Durant scored the next-highest 22, Leverett and Joe Harris scored 20 and 10, respectively, and senior star center DeAndre Jordan scored only four points but grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds.

Corey scored a team-high 20 points and dished out a game-high 10 assists, while Weisman scored 19 points in his debut and Andrew Wiggins scored 13.

Just over two months before the end of the 2019-20 season, each team’s regular season “shrinkage” to 72 games of the new season begins today, the opening day there are two games, the first game by the Golden State Warriors away to challenge the Brooklyn Nets, which is the U.S. NBA last season in the “bubble” after the resumption of the segregated park, again in the team’s home court for the first regular season.

This season, Durant returned after an 18-month hiatus and teamed up with Irving for the first time, giving the Bucks a very different look.
