Argentine star Lionel Messi scored his 644th goal for La Liga giants Barcelona today, surpassing Brazilian legend Pele for the most goals scored by a single club.
Barcelona’s 3-0 win over Real Valladolid leaves them eight points behind leaders Atletico Madrid and fifth in the Spanish La Liga.
Messi scored the special goal in the 65th minute after receiving a good heel pass from Pedri, who took the ball into the box and scored a special goal. With this goal, Messi surpassed Billy’s record of 643 goals for Santos in Brazil and became the player with the most goals for a single club in history.
