The UK has announced the emergence of a variant of the Chinese Communist virus that has increased in infectivity by 70%. A Taiwanese living in the UK broke the news that their couple had been hiding at home for several months, but they were suddenly struck with a high fever a few days ago.
According to Taiwan‘s “Free Times”, a Taiwanese living in the UK posted on Taiwan’s social media platform PTT on the 21st that the couple saw the news of a variant of the Chinese Communist virus in the UK last week and were glad they had worn masks and disinfected themselves with disinfectant tissues and had not gone to the office for nearly a year, thinking they would be fine.
But he said he didn’t expect his wife to have a high fever of 39 degrees that night after saying that, and sent her to the emergency room to find out that she had a viral infection, and the doctor estimated that she had contracted CCP pneumonia. So they went to the testing center the next day for self-screening, and 48 hours later the results showed that his wife was confirmed, and he also began to run a high fever. As of the morning of the 21st, it was the fourth day that the couple had been infected.
He mentioned in the article that they were baffled as to how they were infected after having been at home for so long.
He said that according to the British NHS (National health Service) instructions, they had to consciously isolate themselves at home until the 26th. He revealed that after the infection, he slept less than 3 hours a day and woke up with a high fever in the middle of the night, taking fever-reducing pills while getting high. He also lost his sense of taste when eating, and his sense of smell felt weird.
