The “big boss of the supermarket” exchange of foreign exchange? “There is no such person”
Mia in Sydney to run a food supply company. In April this year, introduced by a friend, met the Chinese man Guo Moumou.
“At that time he worked for a supermarket and took $540 Australian dollars of goods with my friend.” Mia recalls that they have not been in contact since then.
In early December, Guo Moumou contacted Mia by phone out of the blue, and after a few simple pleasantries, he claimed to be a second-generation official who had invested in immigrants to stay in Australia and run a supermarket chain, and wanted to order from her.
She initially had some doubts, but the other party said he was familiar with the owners of major trading companies in Sydney and listed their names one by one.
And the precedent of a friend with whom she had previously traded successfully made Mia let her guard down.

However, Mia did not receive the transfer until 3 days later. Asking the other party was told that the transfer failed for some reason.
Guo offered to pay cash and invited Mia to pick up the money from his supermarket the next day.
That same night, Guo offered to exchange money again on the grounds that “his girlfriend needed RMB to find a ghostwriter,” adding that “it would be easier for the company’s accountant to do the accounting by making $2000 whole.”

In Guo Moumou’s former employer’s assistance, Mia turned around and found several other victims. One of the women named Linda (a pseudonym) told reporters that she had borrowed $1000 to Guo in August this year, the other party is also a self-proclaimed “second-generation official”, but after numerous reminders, has not been repaid.
Guo told Mia that he was a shareholder of a supermarket in Sydney. The reporter called the supermarket owner on December 21 and learned that he was not a shareholder and had only worked as a stocker during the epidemic and had resigned in April.
“Everywhere with our store’s banner, I also tried to find him, but did not answer my phone.” The supermarket owner said this to the reporter.
The reporter later called the man previously worked in another supermarket, Wang boss told reporters, Guo Moumou last year in the store for most of the shift, after being fired for leaking store resources.

He claimed to be doing import and export trade, but refused to disclose his company name to the reporter.
