President Donald Trump said On Tuesday that a preliminary audit of the Dominion voting machines released today was “big news” and showed the current election results were wrong.
Trump retweeted a tweet about the report, writing, “This is big news. The Dominion Voting machines were a disaster across the country, transforming a landslide election result. This cannot be allowed to happen. Thank the judges for their wisdom, courage and patriotism. You deserve a medal! “
In two other tweets, he said “a lot of Trump votes went to Biden” and “this is happening all over the country, this fake election is not going to go on any longer, Republicans move fast.”
“This report shows massive fraud and the election changed the outcome!”
The audit trump referred to was prepared by data firm Allied Special Operations Group, also known as ASOG.
Earlier this month, Judge Kevin Elsenheimer of the 13th Circuit Court of Michigan granted a request for forensic examination in Bailey V. Antrim County. The ASOG team was hired to inspect the Dominion machines in Antrim County.
The team obtained a copy of the county’s election management server, previously used to run the Dominion system Democracy Suite version 5.5.3-002, along with the associated flash memory cards and USB memory sticks.
“The Dominion Voting system was designed deliberately and purposefully with inherent errors to create systematic fraud and influence election results,” according to the preliminary audit.
“The system deliberately produces a large number of ballot errors. The electronic ballot is then forwarded for adjudication. Deliberate errors led to massive vote-counting — without oversight, transparency, or audit trails. This leads to voter fraud or election fraud. Based on our research, we concluded that the Dominion Voting system should not be used in Michigan. Our further conclusion is that the Antrim County results should not be certified.”
On Monday, Judge Elsenheimer agreed to lift the protection order and allow the forensic examination of the machine to be made public.
In a Twitter post, Trump praised the judge, calling him “highly respected” and saying “Thank you to the judge for his genius, bravery and patriotism. [He] deserves a medal!”
Jocelyn Benson, Democrat, Michigan’s secretary of state, and Dana Nessel, the state attorney general, said the report lacked “credible evidence of widespread fraud or wrongdoing”.
Dominion did not respond to EPOCH’s request for comment.
Jenna Ellis, a lawyer for the Trump campaign, said before the report was released that it was “very important to the whole integrity of the election effort.”
The president and his team are battling for election results in key battleground states, and he says the election is not over yet.
