YouTube and Gmail crashed around the world as Google: recovered

YouTube, the world’s largest video sharing platform, was unable to connect to the Internet in an earlier incident, and Gmail was also down. Some netizens found that almost all the users who could log in with GOOGLE were suspended. The official YouTube response on Twitter said that it had found the situation of not being able to access the website and would investigate the situation.

YouTube platform was unable to display earlier. The website only showed the crashed screen of “monkey repairman”. In addition, Gmail could not be logged in. However, YouTube officials earlier responded that the problem has been identified and is being investigated, and that any further developments will continue to be announced.

However, later tests found that YouTube and Gmail were still able to access the normal website screen when the Google Chrome web browser was switched on without a trace, but they were still unable to log in.

By about 8:30 p.m., the GOOGLE service had been largely restored, though the exact cause of the outage remains unclear.
