Barrister WOOD: Trump should declare martial law

On December 12, attorney Lynn Wood told Newsmax that while the Supreme Court has rejected Texas’s case against four states for election violations, he wants his case to be heard by the Supreme Court – otherwise, President Donald Trump might have to resort to martial law.

“The premise of my case is very simple,” Wood told “The Count” hosts Tom Basile and Heather Childers On Monday. My position is that the Election on November 3rd is illegal and unconstitutional because it was held using a mail-in absentee ballot process that was set up by the Secretary of State in March 2020 with the Democratic black box.”

“They changed the process, and you cannot change the federal election process unless it is done by the state legislature,” said Wood. So, for that reason, the election was illegal, the subsequent recount was illegal, and the second round on January 5 was illegal, “he said.

Wood’s case was brought before the Supreme Court against Georgia secretary of State Brad Ravensburg.

“I believe my case has merit,” Wood told Basile. “I hope the Supreme Court will agree to hear it.”

In terms of eligibility, Wood said, he filed the suit as a Voter in Georgia, making him “a litigious property owner.”

Wood noted that the Texas v. Pennsylvania case by Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton was dismissed Friday night not on merit but on merit. He added that his call for a special Georgia legislative session had been ignored by Republican Governor Brian Kemp, Republican Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan, Republican Secretary of State Raffensperger and Republican Attorney General Chris Carr.

“They’re not very responsive,” Wood sighed. “I think that’s because they’ve been corrupted by Chinese money and they have something to hide.”

Wood suggested that Trump should declare “some degree of martial law” if the U.S. Supreme Court continues to refuse to hear election suits.

“If the Supreme Court does not act, someone who cares about the rule of law in this country must act. That would be President Donald Trump, “Wood concluded. “If the Supreme Court does not act, I think the president should declare some degree of martial law, he should suspend the electoral college.”

“Because in this country, we cannot elect a president when there is massive evidence of fraud and fraud. This country must have an honest election. There is no need for the electoral College to meet and vote until we have resolved these issues.”
