Gordon Chang: Beijing “will use any means possible” to destroy the US from within

China expert Gordon Chang says Beijing is conducting a massive infiltration of the United States and “will use any means possible” to destroy the United States from within.

“China will use any means possible to corrupt the Americans, infiltrate them, influence them, and try to overthrow the U.S. government,” Gordon Chang said on Dec. 13 in WABC 770 AM-n.y. “We’re at serious risk right now.”

“Beijing wants to overthrow our government,” Chang added to host John Catsimatidis. “It’s a struggle for survival.”

The Administration of Joe Biden has been eroded by enormous influence (from Beijing), Chang points out.

“They expect America’s elite to return to the White House and have influence in Washington,” he continued. “What we are seeing is a full-scale attack by Beijing on the United States.”

“They think America is in decline. Beijing can do whatever it wants. And that is extremely dangerous.”

The intelligence exposure of Representative Eric Swalwell of California and his relationship with Christine Fang, a Chinese spy, is just one symptom of a wider cultural, social and political contagion in the US, Mr Zhang added.

“We know that she had substantial contact not only with Swolwell, but with many other American political figures,” he told Casimatidis. “What’s important here is that Fang’s first contact with Swalwell was not when he was already on the House Intelligence Committee, which of course is important for Beijing.”

“They contacted him when he was on the council for Dublin, California. They’re grooming him. They are now grooming a lot of Americans to become more influential.”

Even Republicans have been bought off, especially those closely associated with Mr Biden’s election in key battleground states, Mr Zhang points out.

“Brian Kemp, Georgia’s Republican governor, bragged about Georgia’s relationship with China,” Mr. Zhang said. “There is a picture that I find particularly disturbing, of Camp posing with the Chinese Consul General in Houston before the consulate was closed.

“Remember the Houston consulate was closed for espionage. I think it was closed because it was involved in inciting violence against Americans during the year.”

‘It’s no accident that Beijing incited riots and protests [in the United States] during an election year,’ Mr. Chang said.

“We suspect That Beijing is coordinating the protests on the streets of Washington,” he continued. Those violent activities in late May and early June. The burning of St. John’s Church.

“They were clearly co-ordinated and actually heard bragging about how they were working with Chinese agents. There were also signs of similar Chinese activity in Los Angeles and other southern California protests. These all need to be investigated.”

American law enforcement has been trying to get ahead of China, but now has too much to root out, Mr Zhang laments.

“China is overwhelming the FBI and the U.S. law enforcement agencies, the CIA, and we simply can’t keep up because there are so many different ways that China can use money or financial means to influence Americans.” He said.
