President Trump (R-Texas) filed a motion with the Supreme Court on Wednesday (Dec. 9) to join Texas’ lawsuit challenging election results in four swing states. In back-to-back tweets Thursday morning, Trump urged the U.S. Supreme Court to save the United States from the worst election fraud in history.
In one of Thursday morning’s tweets, President Trump emotionally wrote two words, “Wisdom and courage!!!” (WISDOM & COURAGE!!!)
He went on to tweet, “The Supreme Court has a chance to save our country from the biggest election fraud in American history. 78% of people feel (they actually know!) the election was rigged.”
Trump added, “How can you get a man elected who lost hundreds of thousands of legal votes in every swing state? How can a country be governed by an illegitimate president?”
Trump also questioned how Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp (R) could allow votes to be certified without verifying signatures? Ignoring the recently released surveillance video of the Joe State vote irrigation. “Kemp’s poll numbers have plummeted. He’s at the end of his rope as governor.” Trump said.
Trump also quoted Sean Hannity, a well-known Fox anchor, as saying on Twitter, “Donald Trump gets a landslide victory and they [Democrats] steal it from him!”
Trump also quoted a Trump fan who said in an interview with OANN at a Georgia rally, “People are upset, and they have a right to be upset. Not only did Georgia (vote) for Trump in 2016, it still is. Will this be the only state in the Deep South (USA) to support Biden? Have they lost their minds? …… This is a very dangerous time in our history. In fact, our country is being stolen. A coup is taking place before our eyes and the public can’t take this anymore.”
Trump also retweeted a tweet from U.S. Rep. Lance Gooden, R-Texas. Gooden said, “Everyone has their own opinion about election fraud. I’m not interested in what people think, I want the facts.”
U.S. Rep. Ted Budd (R-Texas) tweeted Wednesday (Dec. 9), “The Justice Department needs to listen to ‘We The People’ and address their election concerns immediately. (I’m) pleased that Rep. Gooden and more than 24 House members, are demanding that (the Justice Department) take action to fight for Donald Trump (and) ensure election integrity.”
President Trump also retweeted Bard’s tweet Thursday.
President Trump’s motion papers filed with the Supreme Court on Wednesday read, “Election officials in each defendant state made changes (to election statutes) or failed to enforce state election laws when conducting the 2020 general election.”
The motion papers filed write that our nation is currently deeply divided in a way that arguably has not been seen since the 1860 election. In the election just held, swing states failed to conduct state elections in accordance with state election laws out of clear partisan advantage, in direct violation of the plenary power to elect state legislatures granted by Article II of the U.S. Constitution.
