Congressman: Trump Shouldn’t Concede: Gut feeling knows the election is in trouble

U.S. Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio), a senior member of the House Judiciary Committee, called on President Trump not to back down on the election.

In response to a Newsmax News Network statement on whether the president should make concessions, Jordan replied, “No, of course not, and you have to remember, this is a president who gets (promises) done.”

Jordan said, “This is a president who can do things the way he’s promised to the American people before, and he’s accomplished what he was elected to do. This is just another example of him accomplishing things that are valuable and important to America.”

Jordan went further, stating, “Just by gut instinct, everyone can know that there are problems with this election.”

Since November 3, Trump has been saying that the results of this election were stolen and has launched legal actions in several states to overturn the results. At the same time, his attorneys have lobbied state legislatures and governors to take back their constitutional right to elect electors and not to certify the election results.

Jordan, a veteran congressman, said that Trump’s numbers elsewhere and in certain districts were too good to fail in the general election.

We won 27 of the 27 swing states,” Jordan said. He increased the Hispanic and African-American vote. The Republican-controlled state legislatures maintained their advantage and added some more.” “You can go all the way down and he won 19 of the 20 “bellwether counties.” He won Ohio, Iowa and Florida, and somehow he still didn’t win. So we know that we need to look at all of these elections. There are a number of pending lawsuits, one of which was filed today in Texas, involving a number of states. Let’s see how that turns out. For the good of the country, let’s get to the bottom of this.”
