Joe’s special session difficult, talk show host reveals why

Despite the fact that the state legislature has the power to convene in special session to appoint electors, Georgia lawmakers seem to lack the courage to do so. On Tuesday (8), a radio host revealed that Georgia’s Republican legislators are too terrified of retaliation from Democrats and far-left thugs to take further action.

Conservative radio talk show host John Fredericks revealed on Tuesday’s episode of Steve Bannon’s “War Room” that he has received information that Georgia Republicans fear retaliation for bypassing Governor Brian Kemp and calling a special session of the legislature. They are especially worried about being harassed by leftist extremists. They believed that if they did, Antifa and BLM would riot in Atlanta.

To counter the influence of leftist media in Georgia, Fredericks moved to Georgia and started the online newspaper “The Georgia Star News”. He says that Georgia legislators were asked to sign a petition that would allow them to bypass Kemp and call a special session to examine election fraud in the state, but the legislators were intimidated by the left.

Fredericks noted that in order to hold a special session, Republicans would need to get 91 votes in the House, but they haven’t reached that level yet, in part because the House leadership doesn’t want to participate in a special session.

Fredericks further revealed that President Trump also called the Speaker of the House of Representatives and the Speaker Pro Tempore of the State of Joe directly, urging them to get the 91 votes needed to call a special session.

Fredericks said that they are now trying to get only 91 of the 106 Republicans in the state House of Representatives to agree, and 29 of the 34 Republicans in the state Senate to agree. So, all the Trump camp needs now is Republican votes, and it doesn’t even need the consent of all Republicans to call a special session.

Fredericks went on to cite an example of one of his phone operators talking to 27-year-old Congressman Colton Moore of Jo last night. When asked how the Republican whips in the House would prepare to get the 91 votes, Moore told the operator that they weren’t going to do it.

Fredericks said Moore told the usher, “The problem is, I’m talking to some of these senior members of Congress, and they’re afraid to put their names on that petition because they don’t want their private information collected, they don’t want their families harassed, they don’t want anybody to go to their homes and lock their cars.”

“They also said, look, if we call a special session and we remove Biden’s electors, Antifa is coming.” Moore said, “Black Lives Matter will come, too, and Atlanta will burn, and they will blame us.”

In addition to this, Governor Kemp also warned state legislators on Monday that they cannot appoint electors who will support President Trump.
