Vaccine travel restrictions in many parts of China prohibit unvaccinated people from entering hospitals, stations, schools and supermarkets

In the past week, Jiangxi, Zhejiang and Ningbo have issued notices that failure to receive the new crown vaccine will affect travel.

Ningbo Ninghai County Health and Family Planning Bureau’s official WeChat public number announced that the epidemic prevention and control office issued a notice on July 11: starting from 25, in principle, people who have not received the New Crown vaccine will not be allowed to enter key places such as inpatient departments of medical institutions, nursing homes, schools (kindergartens, nursery schools, out-of-school training institutions), libraries, museums, and prisons.

Qintian County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, issued a similar notice on the 8th: from the 21st, unvaccinated persons will not be allowed to enter key places such as inpatient departments of medical institutions, nursing homes, nurseries, schools (kindergartens, off-campus training institutions), libraries, museums and prisons.

The latest notice issued by Chongren County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi, will be implemented in shopping malls, scenic spots, stations, theaters and other public places to scan the “Gan Tong Code” to check vaccination records, which will cause inconvenience to residents’ lives and travel if they are not vaccinated with the new crown vaccine.

Dingnan and Anyuan counties in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, also issued a notice that from July 26, people who have not received the vaccine will not be allowed to enter supermarkets, hospitals, schools, stations and other key public places (except for those who have certificates of contraindication to vaccination and those under 18 years of age).
