Hua Chunying shared on Twitter on the 25th the official Chinese white paper “The Chinese Communist Party and Human Rights Protection – A Century of Exploration,” which said, “Over the past century, the Chinese Communist Party has insisted on putting people first and the right to survival and development as the most basic human rights.”
Hua Chunying added that “it (the CPC) has always been committed to creating a better life and promoting the all-round development of all people.” She also said that this is why the CCP has a 95 percent approval rate, adding that “this is true democracy.”

Instead, some foreign users sarcastically said, “There is a joke that totalitarian regimes have human rights,” and “Is this a joke?
