Taiwan outbreak adds 339 local cases today

According to the Taiwan Central Epidemic Command Center today announced 341 new confirmed cases of New Coronary Pneumonia in the country, respectively 339 local cases and 2 imported cases from abroad; and 133 corrected cases returned to the local area, for a total of 474 cases. Among the confirmed cases, there are 21 new deaths.

According to the Central News Agency today quoted Taiwan’s Central Epidemic Command Center announced that 339 new cases of local and 133 corrected cases returned on the 4th. The report said that Taiwan today added 339 new local cases and 133 corrected cases, the cumulative confirmed cases broke the 10,000 mark. The confirmed cases added 21 deaths, including a male in his 30s with a history of chronic illness, who was hospitalized with a fever on May 27 and died just four days later.

According to the command center statistics, up to now Taiwan accumulated 606,921 cases of novel coronavirus pneumonia-related notifications (including 585,272 cases excluded), of which 10,446 cases were confirmed, respectively, 1145 cases of foreign migration, 9248 local cases, 36 cases of Dunmu fleet, 2 cases of aircraft infection, 1 case unknown and 14 cases under investigation; the other 26 cases (new case 9199, case 9868) were removed as blank numbers. Among the confirmed cases, 187 cases died.
