U.S. President Joe Biden said he personally spoke with Chinese Communist Party leader Xi Jinping by phone.
“Two hours ago, I had a long phone conversation with President Xi. I made it clear that we’re not going to talk about anything other than human rights around the world, because that’s who we are.” Biden said in his remarks at the U.S. Memorial Day event.
