The outbreak of CCP virus (Wuhan pneumonia) in Guangzhou and Foshan, Guangdong continues to heat up with new confirmed cases. Among them, the outbreak in Guangzhou has seen the 4th generation of transmission, with 14 people infected in the same chain of infection, and officials acknowledge the rapid and strong spread of the virus. Currently, four areas in Guangzhou have been upgraded to medium risk areas.

Since May 29 this year, Baihedong Street, Zhongnan Street, Dongjiao Street and Chongkou Street in Liwan District, Guangzhou City have been adjusted from low-risk areas to medium-risk areas.

The CPC official informed that on May 28, two new local confirmed cases were reported in Guangdong Province, respectively in Guangzhou and Foshan. 8 cases of local asymptomatic infections were reported, 5 in Guangzhou, 1 in Shenzhen and 2 in Foshan.

From 21 May to 14:00 on 28 May, Guangzhou reported a total of 4 confirmed cases and 10 asymptomatic infections, including 5 new cases of local asymptomatic infections on 28 May.

Since May 21, the first confirmed local case in Liwan District, Guangzhou, the “morning tea infection chain” associated with “Another Tea Spot Xuan”, No. 668 Kang Wang Middle Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou, has increased to 14 people.

On May 27, Foshan Chancheng District found a case of asymptomatic infected person Wang in the screening of close contacts of asymptomatic infected person Lei Moumou in Guangzhou. Currently, Foshan has closed the neighborhood where Wang lives and closed the elementary school where Wang’s children live.

One of the confirmed cases of female is Foshan City, Nanhai District, Guicheng Street, Huafu Royal Waterfront district of Liang Moumou, age only 1 year and 1 month.

On May 29, the risk level was adjusted from low risk to medium risk in the Huafu Royal Waterfront neighborhood in Guicheng Street, Nanhai District, Foshan City.

After the outbreak in Guangzhou heated up, it was once rumored that “vaccine supply was tight and the first dose of free vaccination would be stopped on June 9. Subsequently, there was a vaccine scare in the area, and even a “physical fight” at the vaccination site.
