Chinese maritime police ships keep coming! Invading the waters around Diaoyutai for 101 consecutive days

Japan’s Chief Cabinet Secretary Kato Katsushin held a press conference today (24), pointing out that Chinese maritime police ships have been sailing in the waters around Diaoyutai for 101 consecutive days.

According to the Sankei Shimbun, Kato Katsushin said that as of 8:00 a.m. today, the Chinese Coast Guard ships have entered the waters around Diaoyutai for 101 consecutive days, and in order to deal with this situation, the Coast Guard patrol ships will be deployed each time to warn.

Kato Katsushin said that the government has communicated Japan’s position to China through diplomatic channels, and expressed strong protest through diplomatic personnel, and will continue to be vigilant around Diaoyutai.
