The wind has changed? Foch changed his mind: do not believe that the origin of the martial lung virus in nature

After a top-secret U.S. laboratory report and the director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) both pointed to the Wuhan laboratory in China as the likely source of the Wuhan pneumonia (novel coronavirus disease, COVID-19) outbreak, and after members of Congress said they had evidence that the virus came from the Wuhan laboratory, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Director Anthony Fauci, who has repeatedly and adamantly opposed the Trump administration’s theory of the origin of the Chinese virus laboratory, now says he “does not believe” the virus originated in nature. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), now says he “doesn’t believe” the virus originated in nature.

Fauci’s statement was made during a video interview with Katie Sanders, editor-in-chief of the censorship group Politifact, the conservative media outlet National Pulse reported on 22 May.

Sanders asked Fauci, “Do you still believe that it’s a natural progression?” Fauci replied that he was “not convinced” that the virus had a natural origin.

He said, “No, I don’t believe that. I think we should continue to investigate what happened in China until we do our best to find out exactly what happened. Certainly, the people investigating say that it probably emerged from an animal reservoir and then infected individuals, but it could be something else and we need to find that out. So, you know, that’s why I said I’m all for any investigation that looks at the origin of the virus.”

Fauci’s latest stance on the origin of the martial lung virus is the exact opposite of his previous position.

In a May 2020 article in National Geographic, Fauci claimed that all the evidence “strongly suggests” that the virus came from nature, and that he did not accept the laboratory escape theory of the virus “based on scientific evidence. His remarks were interpreted by the mainstream media at the time as a rebuke of the Trump administration’s belief that the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research had something to do with the source of the virus.

Previously, ABC reported exclusively on the 3rd of this month that a year ago, scientists at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory (LLNL) conducted secret research into the origin of the Wulong virus and ultimately concluded that the current pandemic Wulong virus may have come from a Wuhan laboratory in Wuhan.

In addition, the U.S. House of Representatives Republican Party pointed out on the 19th that there is significant circumstantial evidence that the pneumovirus was leaked from the Wuhan Institute of Virus Research in China, and called on the U.S. government to step up pressure on China to conduct a “complete and reliable” investigation into the origin of Wuhan pneumonia. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) director Rochelle Walensky recently in a congressional hearing, also loosely confessed that she does not deny the possibility of Wuhan pneumonia virus from the laboratory.
