The Gateway Pundit reported on May 18 that at London-based blockchain firm Elliptic, an analyst claims that DarkSide, the hacking group that attacked the Colonial Pipeline, has received $90 million worth of bitcoin in the past nine months.

After identifying and analyzing DarkSide’s wallets, The Oval found that the hacking group received $90 million in bitcoin from a total of 47 different wallets.

Before restarting operations, the Colonie pipeline reportedly announced that it had paid $5 million to the hackers.

Last Thursday, $5.3 million in bitcoin was emptied from The Dark Side’s wallets. Some speculate that the $5.3 million in bitcoin was supposedly seized by the U.S. government.
