“The Chinese Communist Party is like a poisonous criminal!” German MP: Policy towards Chinese Communist Party has failed

German MP Ulrich Lechte (FDP) recently said that the German government’s China strategy has clearly failed and that the time when the Chinese Communist Party only cared about itself is long gone.

The German portal “T-Online” reported that Lechte mentioned Germany’s China policy in an interview, saying that there is a clear diplomatic and political strategy behind the Communist Party’s “Belt and Road” project, which makes countries economically dependent on Beijing and puts them in a debt trap.

He mentioned that Germany must get rid of the idea that “transformation through trade promotion will always succeed”, but on the contrary, the German federal government’s strategy is actually a failure.

Reich said the West has failed to respond to the Chinese Communist Party’s dependence on it by distributing money like a drug dealer in development. He also described the Communist Party as a “loan shark” that provides loans to countries in desperate need of funds, only to leave them in debt and having to pay a high price for it, as in the case of Uganda.

Reich stressed that the West must find ways to free countries that depend on China for loans from their grip and thus curb the influence of the Communist Party on the UN General Assembly.
