According to a study released by the European Foundation for Enhancing Life and Work (Eurofound) on Thursday, May 13, 1 in 4 European adults do not want to be vaccinated against Chinese communist viruses (Neocoronavirus, Wuhan pneumonia, COVID-19).
According to an online poll of 47,000 people in the European Union conducted by the European Foundation for Enhancing Life and Work in February and March of this year, 27 percent of respondents said they were unwilling or very unwilling to be vaccinated against the Chinese communist virus, with 29 percent of male respondents and 25 percent of female respondents expressing this view, Deutsche Welle reported on May 13.
The poll also shows that, except for France (48.7%) and Austria (56.8%), support for vaccination is above 60% in all Western European member countries, including 61% in Germany, 86.5% in Northern Ireland, 86.1% in Denmark, and above 80% in the Mediterranean and Nordic countries.
However, support for vaccination is lower among people in Eastern European countries, with 59% in Romania and 33% in Bulgaria.
The poll also shows that 40% of respondents who use social media as their main source of news are not willing to get vaccinated, while only 18% of those who use information similar to the press, TV and radio as their main source are not willing to get vaccinated.
