The Chinese mainland food netizen “Ah Zhuang Pan himself” made steamed food of the conservation creature “big fat snail” and made a film to show off the taste, even lying about the price of the big fat snail, so he was reported by netizens. The netizens don’t try to take the law into their own hands for the sake of filming.
According to mainland media reports, the 35-year-old “A strong pot himself” has the identity of a chef, often in microblogging, Shake Yin and “Bilibili” (Beili Beili, commonly known as B station) and other social platforms to post cooking and food videos, microblogging followers of more than 200,000 people. He has over 200,000 Weibo followers. As for the big phallic snail, it is classified as a second-class conservation animal in mainland China and cannot be hunted and eaten according to the law.
It is reported that a friend surnamed Wu of “Ah Zhuang Pan himself” bought a large French snail with an orange shell and a length of about 15 centimeters at a fishing port in Hainan at the end of April for RMB 70 (about NTD 308) and then passed it to “Ah Zhuang Pan himself”. The two of them then asked another friend to take a video of the “steamed conch” together.
“The video was posted on the Internet on May 6, in which he kept showing off the taste of the conch and falsely claimed that the value of the conch was RMB 1,000 (about NTD 4,333), which immediately drew the attention of netizens. The police received a report and put “A strong pot himself” in criminal detention and summoned Wu’s friend to cooperate with the investigation, the video has now been removed. The police issued an article on Weibo on the 11th appealing to the major platforms of netizens and bloggers need to strengthen their sense of social responsibility, do not try the law with their bodies.
It is reported that the big French snail grows in shallow coral reefs, rocky bottom, the main food for the coral killer “crown of thorns starfish (Acanthaster Planci)”, so has a “coral reef guardian” name, is one of the world’s four famous snails, for It is one of the four famous snails in the world and has a very important function in maintaining the ecology of marine coral reefs.
