Like a man of steel! British Army jet flight suit speed beyond the speedboat

British military company Gravity Industries (Gravity Industries) recently joined forces with the Royal Navy to release a video showing their newly developed gravity jet flight suit. The film simulates a sea boarding operation exercise, a Royal Marine wearing a flight suit on a speedboat to take off, quickly catch up and board the speedboat ahead, as if the superhero Iron Man (Iron Man) general. This technology makes the science fiction movie scenario towards real life a big step forward.

The main thrust of this jet flight suit in the back, in addition to the hands also have four small jet engines for assistance and directional adjustment.

The U.S. Naval Institute (US Naval Institute) shared the clip on Twitter. The tweet pointed out that the British Navy has been testing the jet suit attack team to determine whether this steel man-like flying suit can be used to quickly move out in groups and board ships.

The institute also revealed that the U.S. Special Operations Command (U.S. Special Operations Command) is also evaluating a jetpack that could exceed 200 miles per hour (322 kilometers per hour).

Gravity Industries founder and jetpack inventor Richard Browning said the company has met with members of the U.S. Special Operations Command, including members of the Navy SEALs (SEAL), to discuss the capabilities his jetpack could provide in assault operations.

The country’s helicopter emergency agency, Great Northern Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS), has also begun testing whether the medical and rescue personnel can fly directly to hard-to-reach locations with the jetpack’s flight performance to support those in distress on the mountain.
