According to the Central News Agency (CNA), a Taiwanese cadre of a local technology company in India surnamed Yang died in a hospital in Gurgaon in the afternoon of May 1 after contracting the disease, and his body will be sent back to Taiwan after cremation.
The body will be cremated and sent back to Taiwan. There are eight Taiwanese executives in the technology company, all of whom were vaccinated with the Kexing vaccine, and five of them, including the deceased, are still infected with the Chinese Communist virus. At least 11 Taiwanese have now been infected with the CCP virus in India.
The number of people infected with the epidemic in India reached 400,000 on April 30, setting a world record for a single day of infection in any country in the world. Taiwan’s foreign offices in India are currently undergoing full office disinfection due to local employees infected with the CCP virus, but all officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in India are still working normally.
Taiwan’s epidemic prevention expert He Meiqing told the Epoch Times, “Kexing vaccine now has no way to be able to fight the mutated virus in India, it should not only be Taiwan people were we noticed, because it this (vaccine) is not very effective, and now India is so many people, so densely populated, the whole living conditions so interlocked, the airport population is very dense, the epidemic is difficult to control .”
She believes that there is very little information on the Indian mutant strain, but the Indian mutant strain is more virulent than the South African one, “and the vaccine effect is much lower for the South African mutant strain. For example, originally there was ninety percent effect, it will drop to sixty percent, the protection will be reduced.”
She also said that the people who were infected again after the vaccination should be properly followed up, “is the vaccination more serious after the disease? Because he should not be sicker, he should be the same as people who have not been vaccinated. One hundred people have been vaccinated and one hundred people have not been vaccinated, and they all have to be compared properly in case they get sick.”
Zhang Ke, director of the Infection Control Office at Kaohsiung City Hospital, believes that the Kexing vaccine is the worst of the many new crown vaccines in terms of protection, with only 51% protection, so if there are other vaccine options, you can still consider other vaccines first. He also suggested that local Taiwanese businessmen could consider working at home from a distance and try not to go out if they can.
According to the BBC, Chinese Communist Party President Xi Jinping has pledged to provide $2 billion worth of vaccine aid to Africa and $1 billion in steered loans to Latin America for the purchase of new vaccines, the exact terms and conditions of which are not yet clear. The Chinese authorities are pushing for “vaccine diplomacy,” but the safety and efficacy of China’s domestic vaccines are in question.
As of April 25, a total of 1,275,300 doses of New Crown vaccine had been administered in Hong Kong, with 2,131 cases of vaccination abnormalities reported, accounting for 0.17% of the total number of vaccinations.
