Stranger announced that President and COO Wang Li is the company’s new CEO, replacing Tang Yan

On October 24, Stranger (NASDAQ: MOMO) announced a personnel appointment that will see President and COO Wang Li succeed founder Tang Yan as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 1, 2020. The announcement was subsequently made by Wang Li via an all-hands letter. Wang Li, a 37-year-old founding partner of the company, has been COO since 2014, director since 2017, and president since 2018, with overall responsibility for the company’s business and functions. Wang Li graduated from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics with a bachelor’s degree in management in 2004.

Tang Yan said, “I don’t think anyone is more qualified to lead Stranger than Wang Li. Wang Li’s experience as President and Chief Operating Officer, as well as his nearly decade-long career with the company, make him an excellent choice for the new CEO.
