Biden congratulates U.S. on “tremendous progress” in preventing and controlling outbreak

U.S. President Joe Biden spoke Tuesday on the latest status of the new U.S. crown epidemic. Biden said the United States has made “tremendous progress” in recent months in the face of the new crown pandemic. The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Tuesday that people who have completed vaccination against the new crown no longer need to wear masks outdoors. The U.S. has taken another step toward returning to normal life.

AFP news agency, Biden said in a White House speech Tuesday, “Although we still have a long way to go, we have made tremendous progress.” Biden said, “It’s simple: if you’re vaccinated, you can do more whether you’re indoors or outdoors.” The U.S. Department of Health has just announced that masks can be worn outdoors without a mask.

This comes after Rochelle Walensky, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the leading federal public health agency, said Tuesday, “If you are fully vaccinated and want to attend small gatherings with those who are vaccinated and those who are not, or eat at an al fresco restaurant, it is scientifically proven that it is safe to do so without wearing a mask s.” She added in the news release, “We continue to recommend that masks are still required in crowded outdoor venues, such as stadiums or concerts.” .

The new Centers for Disease Control and Prevention rule is a step toward returning to normal life.

Under the new guidelines, people who have not completed the vaccination process, including those who have not completed two doses of the Modena Pharmaceuticals vaccine, those who have not completed two doses of the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals vaccine, and those who have not received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, will be required to wear a mask when attending a party outdoors if there are participants who have also not completed the vaccination process, and to wear a mask at all times except when eating at an outdoor restaurant. For those who have completed the vaccination process, masks are not required under the circumstances. However, anyone who is in a very crowded area, such as concerts and sporting events, must wear a mask at all times.

The Center also continues to advise people to wear masks in indoor public places such as hair salons, shopping malls, museums and theaters. Experts at the CDC point out that the risk of transmission of the new coronavirus is low in most outdoor settings.

The CDC also says that people who are not vaccinated can also walk, run or bike with their families without wearing a mask.

Slavitt, a senior adviser to the White House’s outbreak expert panel, said Tuesday that more than 54 percent of adults nationwide have now received at least one dose of the New Crown vaccine, and that the administration’s next step will be to strongly support state governments in their efforts to help students start getting vaccinated so they can return to school.

Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said studies have shown that the existing vaccine is effective against the variant virus and is particularly effective in preventing serious illness and death. He encouraged people to get vaccinated as soon as possible.

The U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reported that in the past week, the U.S. has seen an average of 54,000 new diagnoses per day, an average of 5,100 hospitalizations per day, and a drop in the number of deaths per day to about 660, all of which are down from the previous week.
