Recently, industrial and commercial information shows that a company named GREE HVACR Equipment (Chengdu) Co., Ltd. of GREE Electric has a business change event, the company’s legal representative and chairman Dong Mingzhu officially withdrew, the two positions held by Zhuang Pei. This has sparked much speculation.
One speculation is why Dong Mingzhu stepped down as chairman of this company. Ltd. was established four years ago, the company’s registered capital of 30 million yuan. However, in early April, GREE HVACR Equipment (Wuhan) Co., Ltd. underwent a business change on April 8, increasing its registered capital from 40 million yuan to 100 million yuan, an increase of 150%. The legal person of this company is also Zhuang Pei. It seems that Gree is vigorously strengthening the HVACR equipment business, but not necessarily related to Dong Mingzhu.
Another speculation is who is Zhuang Pei? From 2002 to April 2003, he was the assistant to the president of the company; from April 2003 to the present, he is the vice president of Gree Electric.
