Dark clouds cover Tiananmen Square in Beijing.
On April 22, a Chinese Foreign Ministry official jumped on the “Strategic Competition Act of 2021” passed by the U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee, calling out the U.S. for its brutal interference in internal affairs in order to defeat China in the competition. In response, Beijing’s second generation of Reds rebuffed the Chinese Communist Party, saying that among the world’s major powers, the United States treats China the best. It is too late to thank the U.S., and the far-left officials, including Wang Yi and Yang Jiechi of the Foreign Ministry, are also responsible for such a bad relationship between China and the U.S.
On the 21st, the U.S. Senate Foreign Affairs Committee passed the Strategic Competition Act, a bipartisan proposal, by an overwhelming margin of 21-1, to address various areas of the Chinese Communist Party, including predatory economic practices, malicious influence warfare, development of digital authority, military expansion, and oppression of Hong Kong. The Act is considered to be the heaviest comprehensive “anti-communist bill” in the world.
At a regular press conference of the Chinese Foreign Ministry on 22nd, Wang Wenbin, the spokesman of the Chinese Foreign Ministry, responded to the topic by calling out the U.S. for “seriously distorting facts, reversing black and white, exaggerating the ‘China threat theory'” and “grossly interfering in China’s in China’s internal affairs.” He also asked the U.S., “Is the purpose of U.S. development to beat China in competition? The “distorted and narrow-minded mentality” is not in line with the pattern of world powers.
A Beijing-based academic who has studied the CCP’s military and diplomacy told the Epoch Times that I agree with Xi Jinping’s statement that “there are a thousand reasons for the U.S.-China relationship to be good, but not one reason to fight.
Secondly, the level of these ministers in the central government is very low, they want to play Xi Jinping’s ideas the more left they play, that is, patting the horse’s ass is not buttocks on.
He refuted Wang Wenbin saying, “The United States is not trying to bring China down. As a world power speaking, the United States is the best for China, the United States has too much support for China, the United States has never encroached on an inch of China’s land, while the Russians encroached on large areas of China.”
He further said, “In the past, war reparations, the United States do not want, but also help to give the Chinese to run schools. The Americans were so helpful to the Chinese during the war against Japan because China had to build roads and the U.S. brought guys as dumb as bulldozers from the U.S. mainland to China, we couldn’t thank the U.S. enough.”
He stressed, “These people have radicalized and ultra-left this idea, and the more they do it, the more powerful they are, not only to push for the outbreak of war, but also to say ‘China will definitely win when war breaks out, the United States can’t beat China’, which is not nonsense!”
The second generation of the red generation believes that the so-called scholars who help boast that the United States can not defeat China do not understand the military nor do they know the real military power of the country now. “For example, the Taiwan issue, now the extreme left thinking more and more powerful blowing, immediately liberated, soon Taiwan returned. It’s not like that.”
He criticized the Chinese Communist Party’s war-wolf diplomacy, saying that China is an ancient civilized country and that it should speak properly, “be more generous, more honest and more disciplined. Do not be so reckless, do not move to scold others, do not move is Lao Tzu first, my country how great. Do not say so, do not cool down this conflict to ease down.”
He believes that Wang Yi and Yang Jiechi, diplomats with extreme leftist ideas, are also responsible for the deterioration of Sino-US relations.
He also thinks that Yang Jiechi has gone too far, “I think his harsh words are purely for show. Because his daughter and wife are in the U.S., he is afraid that the Chinese will scold him for being ‘in bed with the U.S.’, so his stance shows that he is anti-American.”
