U.S. vaccination rewards up to $511 per day with 10 days paid leave

The United States is now approaching a turning point in its fervent vaccination campaign, as enthusiasm for vaccination begins to wane.

President Joe Biden warned on July 21 that if vaccination rates continue to decline, people may not be able to gather with family and friends on July 4 to celebrate the Fourth of July.

To promote more people to get vaccinated, Biden announced that employers will provide up to 10 working days of paid leave of up to $511 per day for each employee who gets vaccinated, and the federal government will provide tax rebates to employers to make up for the loss.

A report released by the Kaiser Family Foundation on the 20th states that the enthusiasm for vaccination in the United States is now nearing a turning point, with enthusiasm for vaccination expected to begin to decline in the next 2 to 4 weeks. Once that happens, the report says, actions to encourage vaccination will become much more difficult.

Given that the proportion of the population that has been vaccinated is only slightly more than half, and there is still a considerable distance from the 70% to 85% vaccination rate for herd immunity, experts are worried that the situation will continue to make the efforts to curb the epidemic come to naught.

President Joe Biden delivered a speech on the 21st, celebrating that vaccinations are expected to reach his goal of 200 million doses a week early on the 22nd, 100 days after taking office. Biden called it an incredible achievement for the country. He added that the percentage of people over 65 in the United States who have been vaccinated is now more than 80 percent.

But Biden also noted that there are still a large number of American adults who have not been vaccinated. He singled out young people in particular, saying that too many of them may still be hesitant.

The goal, he declared, is to have everyone in the United States over the age of 16 vaccinated.

He warned that declining vaccination rates could affect upcoming Fourth of July celebrations and that if they give up now and stop being vigilant, they won’t be able to celebrate the Fourth with their friends and family.

Biden singled out a tax credit provision in the $1.9 trillion bailout he signed. The provision allows employers to provide paid leave to vaccinated employees and then reimburse the federal government. Employers with fewer than 500 employees are eligible for this benefit, up to $511 per employee per day and for up to 10 working days.

The period covered runs from April 1 to Sept. 30. I call on every employer in every state, large and small, to pay employees for the time they are vaccinated and for the time they need to rest and recover from reactions to the vaccination, Biden said.

He noted that there is no excuse for employers not to do that, and no one should have their paycheck docked for fulfilling their patriotic duty to get vaccinated.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show that 133 million adults nationwide have received at least one dose of the new crown vaccine, representing 51.5 percent of the adult population and 40.5 percent of the national population, of which 84 million have received all two doses, representing 33.8 percent of the adult population and 26.4 percent of the national population.

The problem now is that those who are willing to get vaccinated have largely done so, while those who are currently unvaccinated are mostly reluctant or hesitant to do so, and young people are the least willing to do so.

The Kaiser Family Foundation report says that some areas are now seeing a decline in the number of people making appointments to get vaccinated. The report therefore expects that there will soon be an oversupply of vaccines.

For the recent decline in vaccination rates, White House officials say the reason is not that people are still hesitant to get vaccinated, but that young people, who are generally healthy and have a low chance of infection, feel inconvenienced.

The Biden administration is currently focusing on those who want to be vaccinated but have not yet been vaccinated, and many people who have not yet been vaccinated are worried about not being able to take time off work to get vaccinated because they don’t have paid leave, so we are looking at how to break through this barrier, said White House press secretary Pusaki at a briefing on the 21st.

Experts say the slowdown in vaccination demand could break vaccination efforts, with the chance that the dangerous new coronavirus could continue to mutate, spread and cause a new wave of outbreaks, and could slow the nation’s return to normalcy.

Although more than half of U.S. adults have received at least one dose of the new coronavirus vaccine, vaccination rates vary by state, with New Hampshire at 59 percent and Alabama and Mississippi at 30 percent.

In Louisiana, although the vaccine has been available to all adults since March, the state’s adult vaccination rate is only 40 percent.

Free marijuana with a shot? U.S. Fancy Persuades People to Get Vaccinated, Rich Canadians Charter Flight to U.S. for Vaccinations

Granted, a lot of people are getting vaccinated in the U.S. now. However, according to a recent poll, one in five people are still reluctant to get vaccinated, or will only consider it if asked. Another 17 percent of the population said they would wait and see.

Some people are worried about the safety of the vaccine, others are worried about the side effects, and others are just waiting and seeing.

In order to improve the motivation of vaccination, the United States is also desperate to come up with a variety of ways to “lure” people to enthusiastically vaccinate. Next door to Canada, there are still many people waiting to “go south” to receive the new crown vaccine ……

The U.S. is trying to persuade people to get vaccinated

One shot, one marijuana? Many places in the United States offer marijuana to vaccinators

This …… is a bit confusing.

Several places across the country where marijuana is legal have introduced the Joints for jabs or Pot for Shots incentive, commonly known as “one shot for one marijuana”, where you get a free marijuana if you get the New Crown vaccine.

Image from twitter copyrighted by the original author

Earlier this year, there were a number of pot for shots events in Michigan, where businesses rewarded people with free marijuana for getting vaccinated for the new vaccine. As long as you can provide written proof that you were vaccinated, the business that started the campaign will give you a free stick of marijuana “as an incentive.

Washington State has since launched a similar campaign.

In New York, April 20 Marijuana Day was originally an unofficial holiday to celebrate the legalization of marijuana in New York State.

But this year, to celebrate the day, some businesses in New York State are offering free marijuana when you show proof of your new crown vaccine that day.

Many of the businesses participating in the event said they wanted to use the gesture to encourage their customers to get more involved in vaccinations.

But some people believe that marijuana, a controversial commodity, should not be used as a marketing “traffic code” to “lure” people to get vaccinated.
emmm …… Anyway, I can only say that the brain circuit is strange enough, is this really not a wild way to go?

The vaccine on the lottery? These U.S. universities are fighting

The first thing you need to do is to get a good idea of what you want to do. In order to encourage students to get vaccinated as soon as possible, American universities are really close to making every effort.

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (University of North Carolina at Greensboro) recently announced that

Students who have received their vaccinations by April 28th will be entered into a drawing!

The prizes include $150 meal vouchers, free textbooks, free housing and more!

Although vaccinations are not mandatory, some universities encourage you to at least get a nucleic acid test first. If you are a student at Ohio University and you take the initiative to do the asymptomatic test, then you have a chance to win a Mini iPad, Macbook, and other prizes.

Students at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville (University of Tennessee at Knoxville) can earn points for prizes by completing a self-screening or testing questionnaire.
It seems that schools are going to great lengths to persuade students to get vaccinated!

Pay for the vaccine!

Not only the schools, but also many American companies are on their way!

Brazil’s JBS, the world’s largest meat processor, said that U.S. employees working at its subsidiary Pilgrim’s Pride will each receive a $100 bonus if they choose to get the New Crown vaccine.

The company hopes the move will increase the percentage of its more than 66,000 U.S. employees who are vaccinated, thereby reducing production disruptions due to outbreaks.

The local BRIA health Services facility in Chicago has offered to reward employees with $150 as long as they receive the New Crown vaccine. In addition to the cash incentive, BRIA has offered to provide free shift work meals if the company achieves a 75 percent vaccination rate in order to motivate employees.

Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, has previously offered a $500 cash bonus for getting the New Crown vaccine.

There is also a 30-year-old Chicago restaurant, Village Tap, which has also offered a vaccine discount. The restaurant’s announcement said that if you show proof of vaccination, you can get a $10 gift card.

Show proof of vaccination 1 free doughnut per day

What, it’s not even popular to give out money anymore, it’s just doughnuts?

In order to reward those who are brave enough to get vaccinated, Krispy Kreme has announced that starting from March 22nd this year, they will offer free original doughnuts, hoping that the sweet taste will cheer you up for vaccination!

If you have been vaccinated, simply bring your vaccination certificate to your nearest Krispy Kreme store to receive a free original sugar glazed doughnut, which will be available until December 31, 2021, so anyone with a vaccination appointment after that can also redeem it at the store.

Each person is limited to one redemption per day, which theoretically equates to a free donut every day until the end of the year!

In addition, Krispy Kreme will provide free doughnuts to healthcare workers and volunteers at all vaccination centers in the U.S., and will grant employees up to four hours of paid time off for vaccinations.

Former U.S. Presidents’ Group Goes Online: All Get Vaccinated!

To encourage the American public to get vaccinated, the F4 group of former U.S. presidents is also out of business: Obama, Bush, Clinton and Carter, with their wives, participated in a public service announcement in January of this year, with the aim of breaking vaccine skepticism and urging people to get vaccinated with the new crown!

Canadian tycoons chartered a plane at their own expense to fly to the United States to get vaccinated!

Next door, the old Canadians saw the U.S. vaccines were happy and couldn’t sit still.

In order to get vaccinated as soon as possible, Jeff and Kathy Lerner, who just flew back to Canada from the United States last March to avoid the new vaccine, are ready to go south to the United States again to get vaccinated.

Jeff and Kathy Lerner chose to travel to the U.S. again. said because the U.S. vaccination in Florida is fast and priority can be given to those over 65 years old.

“We can go there and just jump the queue for the vaccine, and in Canada we have no idea how long we’ll have to wait!”

Not only that, but Jeff says that there are not even a handful of Canadians like them who want to go to the U.S. to get vaccinated.

“At the time we were planning to go to the US as a couple to get vaccinated, I knew we were surrounded by at least 2 family members who were also planning to travel from Toronto and elsewhere to the US to plug in for vaccinations in Miami and Florida.”

And for the rich and famous in Canada, things are even easier ……

Andrew Paton, flew to Florida, USA, in January to get his new crown vaccine.

Andrew, however, said the following about violating the US-Canada ban and flying to the US without permission in the middle of an epidemic just to get vaccinated.

“All of my American friends are very happy that I could go there because by doing so we are protecting them and ourselves.”
In addition to Andrew, the Sheltons, who live in Ontario, also took a private flight to Florida this year to get vaccinated.

“Frankly, more and more Canadians are coming to the U.S. to get vaccinated, and it has long since become a ‘rich man’s game,’ with many coming by private jet.”

According to Momentum Jets, a leading local private jet company in Canada, more and more Canadians have been booking private charter flights to the United States with them since the start of full vaccination in the United States earlier this year, breaking the news that.

“We’ve had so many orders in the last few months that people have even started bidding online for seats and even charter flights for anywhere from $2.5 to $80,000 CAD.”

Robert Huizenga, a well-known local private physician based in Beverly Hills, USA, revealed in an interview that.

“I get countless phone calls every day from people who outright say they will transfer $10,000 or more to me as soon as they and their families can schedule their vaccinations in advance.”

As a concentration of wealthy individuals across the United States and even the world, Robert Huizenga says he receives daily messages from wealthy individuals chartering flights to other states to get vaccinated, or spreading money to buy vaccination seats.

“Is there a gray area in vaccination where the wealthy still have priority”? Robert can only reluctantly admit to this phenomenon.
