South Korean woman dies suddenly 3 days after receiving national medicine vaccine in Shanghai

Yonhap News Agency reported that a South Korean woman in her 40s was found dead at her home in Shanghai, China on the 22nd after receiving the New Crown vaccine in Shanghai on the 19th.

According to the South Korean Consulate General in Shanghai, the woman developed nausea and other symptoms after receiving the vaccine developed by China National Pharmaceutical Group at Shanghai Tongren Hospital. The Shanghai police said that the preliminary investigation does not suspect homicide.

The case has sparked anxiety among local South Korean expatriates, many of whom canceled their vaccination plans.
