During his visit to the China-Europe Center in Chengdu on April 20, Li Keqiang said that the China-Europe Center should not only face Europe, but also the whole world to carry out cooperation, make it a bigger platform for open cooperation, and strive to become a bigger center for global cooperation. Netizens analyzed that the recent war-wolf policy of the Chinese Communist Party has forced developed countries all over the world to start shutting down and decoupling from the CCP. This time the CCP is really afraid and has the premier come out to show goodwill to countries.
According to official media reports, Li Keqiang visited the China-Europe Center in Chengdu on April 20. It is reported that the center has more than 170 internationally renowned institutions and enterprises in residence. Fourteen business representatives from different countries and industries, including Germany, France, the Netherlands, Japan, South Korea and India, interacted with Li Keqiang.
According to the report, Li Keqiang addressed the representatives of Chinese enterprises at the center, saying that by exchanging and cooperating with foreign enterprises, both sides can find new business opportunities and learn new things from each other, which can continuously improve the level of each other’s opening to the outside world.
On the same day, Xi Jinping attended the opening ceremony of the Boao Forum for Asia 2021 annual meeting by video and delivered a keynote speech. He said that artificially “building walls” and “decoupling” are detrimental to others, and that individual countries should not give the whole world a “rhythm”. Analysis suggests that this shows his concern about being isolated by the international community and the decoupling of China and the United States.
A video posted by netizens shows Li Keqiang speaking to representatives of Chinese companies at the entrance of the China-Europe Center, saying that he wants to expand the China-Europe Center in Chengdu into a center of cooperation for Northeast Asia, South Asia and the world.
