On April 20, a large luxury cruise ship suddenly exploded in the seaport of Weihai, Shandong Province, China, sending out violent sounds and vibrations, and sending out a lot of smoke.
At 10:07 p.m. on April 19, the Chinese luxury cruise ship “China Fortune” set sail from Weihai Port to Dalian, Liaoning Province, and a truck in the cargo hold suddenly burst into smoke.
After returning to the port, the ship began to evacuate the passengers on board, and then sealed the cabin by releasing carbon dioxide in an attempt to isolate the fire and smoke, but it is suspected that the staff opened the cabin to check the situation, making oxygen infusion, resulting in a burst of flame. Fortunately, the crew and passengers were evacuated long ago, and no casualty news came out of the scene.

Firefighters were reported to the scene to deal with the fire until about 2 p.m. have not been able to completely extinguish the fire, and now dealing with the aftermath of the work is still underway, the authorities are still investigating the cause of the incident.
It is reported that the China Fortune is 185 meters in length, 28.6 meters in width, 37,000 tons in tonnage and 2,300 passengers, mainly carrying passengers, cars and trucks; the interior of the ship has VIP sea view suites, movie theater, KTV, open bar and other entertainment and leisure places.
