70-year-old Mexican woman thought to be of Asian descent beaten by black woman in Los Angeles

The Gateway Pundit reports that last Friday, April 9, a 70-year-old woman of Mexican descent was severely beaten by a 23-year-old black racist woman who passed herself off as Asian and was hospitalized for 24 hours before being discharged. The son of the elderly woman, Becky, said his mother suffered a concussion, a broken nose, a black eye and had her hair ripped out, and that the attack worsened her pre-existing condition of lupus arthritis and other disabilities, and she still has trouble walking.

Yasmine Beasley, a 23-year-old black woman, tailed Becky off a bus in Los Angeles before she began beating the victim and hurling anti-Asian racial slurs.

Los Angeles police said they are still gathering information about the incident and it was but a spokesman for the department confirmed that Beasley, 23, was arrested around 1:30 p.m. Friday and charged with assault and battery, and that police are continuing to investigate the incident.

The alleged mistaken identity attack against Becky is part of a rising trend of hate crimes against Asian-Americans.
