The Gateway Pundit reports that the former Democratic mayor of Sebastopol, Sonoma County, California, who was arrested last Saturday on five felony and one misdemeanor sexual assault of a minor charges, appeared in Sonoma County Superior Court on Tuesday, the Sebastopol Police Department said in a statement, with police citing court documents that The number of felony charges expanded to 11 felony counts of child sexual assault.
Former Mayor Robert Emmanuel Jacob, 44, was charged with lewd acts with a child between the ages of 14 and 15, participating in the sexual abuse of a child under 16, making a child under 16 available for lewd or lascivious acts, and distributing child pornography.
Jacobs is an openly gay, far-left, marijuana businessman who has expressed support for Black Lives Matter, reduced police funding and regularly bashes Trump on social media.
Police received a tip on March 30 about a possible sexual assault in Sebastopol between December 2019 and March 2021, and investigators identified Jacob as a suspect and took him into custody at a residence in the 7400 block, police said.
