Amazon bought the camera, the footage is afraid to be transmitted to the Chinese Communist military

Under the rule of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), private and state-owned enterprises in China have prioritized the interests of the CCP, and the development of surveillance technology among them has put the privacy of the people completely in the hands of the CCP. But did you know that being overseas can also put you under the surveillance of the Chinese Communist Party?

This wireless camera, sold on Amazon, looks ordinary, but it is made by Zhejiang Dahua (DAHUA), one of the few Chinese surveillance products officially banned in the United States.

The U.S. government accuses these companies, of supporting the Chinese Communist Party military, which means that all the footage captured by the products will go into the hands of the Chinese Communist Party.

Gen. Robert Spalding, a former senior U.S. Defense Department and State Department strategy and diplomacy official, said this is not alarmist and has been confirmed.

Former senior director of strategic planning at the U.S. White House National Security Council: “The video that was taken and sent back to China, it’s no longer a theory, it’s absolutely certified”

Not only that, the U.S. has also blacklisted Dahua, for human rights violations. Many countries in Europe and the United States, have now found the Chinese Communist Party guilty of genocide in Xinjiang, and UOB has been accused of sharing data with the Chinese Communist Party to assist the Chinese Communist Party in monitoring its nationals, especially in tracking the Uyghurs.

Another company accused by the U.S. of assisting the Chinese Communist Party in human rights violations, Hikvision, still has a store on Amazon, and a Hikvision subsidiary produces baby surveillance products that are also compatible for use with Amazon Alexa.

Technical analysts said that although the sale of these products is not illegal, but there are ethical issues. And Amazon does not warn customers of the product’s ties to the Communist government or the existence of human rights violations in its product sales.

For its part, Amazon believes it has always followed the law and additionally purchased the Dahua thermal imaging camera in 2020 in order to protect its employees during the CCP virus epidemic.

The public is reminded that when purchasing products, they should also understand the background of the companies involved and protect their personal privacy.
