Progressives bend the knee? Trump raises more donations at Republican National Committee retreat

The Gateway Pundit reported Saturday that President Trump is expected to raise millions of dollars again during his closed-door speech Saturday at the Republican National Committee (RNC) spring donor retreat.

Since the election, President Trump has been raising money for his political action committee, competing with other Republican groups for donations. In a speech at the Conservative Political Action Conference, Mr. Trump encouraged donors to give to his Save America PAC and not to RINOS, a nominally Republican organization, because “these people will do nothing but hurt the Republican Party and the great Republican voter base.”

The Gateway Pundit argues that Trump doesn’t need the establishment’s fundraising. Trump’s political guild has amassed more than $85 million to fuel another Trump presidential run in 2024. Trump’s Save America PAC had that huge amount of cash on hand going into April, according to a person with direct knowledge of the situation, who asked not to be named because fundraising figures have not been made public.

Federal Election Commission documents show that Save America raised more than $30 million from late November through December of last year, and still had $31 million on hand at the end of last year.

The Gateway Pundit thinks it’s time to take on the Republican establishment!
