The Communist Party of China (CPC) sent military aircraft to disturb Taiwan for eight consecutive days since April 3, and sent a formation of the aircraft carrier Liaoning into the western Pacific Ocean during the Qingming Festival holiday, causing concern among nations. The U.S. Navy has also recently exposed the U.S. destroyer USS Muscatine to monitor the Liaoning at close range.

The U.S. Navy recently published a photo of two U.S. military officers looking at the ship not far away. Lt. Cmdr. Robert Briggs, commander of the destroyer USS Mustin (DDG-89), and Lt. Cmdr. Richard Slye, were in the navigation room monitoring surface contact with the Chinese aircraft carrier Liaoning, clearly visible as the ship’s number 16.

The USS Mastin and the Liaoning were sailing side by side, and the U.S. military could see the flight deck planes in addition to the ship’s number, which was so close that it could be clearly seen.

The Global Times, the official media of the Chinese Communist Party, also confirmed that the ship sailing side by side with the USS Mastin is indeed the Liaoning, a Chinese aircraft carrier.

The photo was revealed to the netizens, who said, “I’m staring at you, I’m staring at you, I’m staring at you, I’m staring at you. ” The most powerful destroyer at sea is close to the aircraft carrier, a sign of goodwill, right? Should we go to the rescue?” And so on.

The destroyer “Mastin” departed from the Japanese port of Yokosuka on March 27 and sailed south through the East China Sea off the mouth of the Yangtze River in the early hours of March 3, while the Chinese aircraft carrier “Liaoning” passed through the main island of Okinawa and Miyako Island on March 3, crossing the first island chain and sailing to the Pacific Ocean.
