The world’s youngest billionaire is only 18 years old, and the drugstore owner is worth $3.3 billion.

Germany’s largest drugstore chain “Dm-drogerie markt” has more than 2,000 stores nationwide.

Forbes recently released its list of the world’s richest people in 2021, and Jeff Bezos, the founder of Amazon, has been the world’s richest person for four years with a value of $177 billion. As for the world’s youngest billionaire, it is a young German Kevin David Lehmann (18 years old).

Business Insider reported that Lehmann, who is from Germany, is only 18 years old this year but worth $3.3 billion, ranking 925th among the world’s richest people, making him the world’s youngest billionaire.

The report pointed out that Lehmann was able to make the list at a young age mainly because he inherited shares of Germany’s largest drugstore chain “Dm-drogerie markt” owned by his father, Guenther Lehmann.

Founded in 1974, Dm-drogerie markt has more than 2,000 stores in Germany alone, employs more than 41,000 people and has an annual turnover of $12 billion.

Genser transferred 50% of his shares to his son Lyman in 2017, but father and son have always kept a low profile and have not been actively involved in the operation of Dm-drogerie markt, so the outside world does not know much about them.
