China’s local political and legal officials are rumored to have been purged again. The State Supervisory Commission of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection of the Communist Party of China (CCDI) informed today that Liu Xinyun, vice governor of Shanxi Province and head of the provincial public security department, is suspected of serious disciplinary violations and is currently under disciplinary review and supervisory investigation. Officials have not yet listed the details of Liu Xinyun’s illegal and disciplinary offences.
