Former White House chief of staff: Trump re-election presidential possibility of more than 50%

Mark Meadows (R-N.Y.) speaks to reporters on Nov. 13, 2019.

Mark Meadows, former chief of staff to former state President Donald Trump (R-Texas), says there is a more than 50 percent chance that Trump will run for president again.

“I’m delighted that President Trump is willing to go into the Oval Office again,” Meadows said Wednesday (April 7) in a conservative self-published interview with Sebastian Gorka, a former Trump administration official.

Meadows said Trump is “doing all the preparations needed” to take the White House again and that he is being “encouraged by a lot of friends” and by many former Trump administration staffers.

He said, “Ultimately, I think you’ll see that Americans didn’t stop on Nov. 3, didn’t stop on Jan. 20, and we need to reengage. So he’s getting a lot of encouragement and I would say there’s more than a 50 percent chance that he’ll run again and that everybody should be concerned about that.” “However, because the current social media is so far to the left, he needs to set up his own social media platform again.”

After Trump had his accounts blocked by Twitter and Facebook, he switched to e-mail for his messages. And some of Trump’s former staffers have teased that he is planning to introduce a social media platform of his own.

They can’t silence me,” Trump told Newsmax TV on April 6. I have no barriers because I don’t tweet to people anymore, and after you do a lot of research, you find out that maybe you shouldn’t use (them).”

And Trump supporter Mike Lindell, owner of My Pillow and Pillow for Pillow, is also building a social media platform to protect free speech, called ” Frank” (Frank). The platform is said to have a capacity of one billion accounts. The other day he said he hoped to launch the platform by April 12 at the latest. He has explained that the reason for the delay is that he wants to make a foolproof plan that is not afraid to face attacks, so he has installed a backup server in a hidden location.

In March, Trump said he would make a decision to see what the outcome of the 2022 midterm elections would be before deciding whether to run for president in 2024.

In an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox News last month, Trump said, “Based on all the polls, they all want me to run again. But we’re going to look, and we’re going to look at a couple of things first, we’re going to look at what we can do with the House.”
